NBA forward Henry Walker is coming to Cedevita
Cedevita announced the agreemen on cooperation with William Henry »Bill« Walker, 198 cm tall and 28-year old American forward, who will arrive to Zagreb by the end of the week. After he passes the medical examinations, the player, that can play at the both forward positions, will sign with the Zagreb Euroleague side.

"We have a great rhythm and good results, but in order to keep it, we needed to fill the empty spot on the team, emerged by the departure of Zubčić. Walker is the player, that can play both at the power forward and small forward positions, he is experienced and I believe that he would represent a true reinforcement for us," Matej Mamić, Cedevita Sports Director commented.
After Walker was selected at the NBA Draft, he was signed by Boston Celtics, for which he played 37 NBA games in two seasons and was also loaned to Utah Flash and Maine Red Claws in the D-League. He spent the following three seasons with the New York Knicks and he achieved the best results in the first (2010/11) season, when he averaged 11.9 points nad 3.1 rebounds in 27 minutes spent on court on average. In 2013 he played in the D-League for Austin Toros and in Venezuela and then spent the 2013/14 season in D-League with Sioux Falls Skyforce and in the Philippines. He also began last season in Sioux, but later moved to Miami Heat, for which he appeared in 26 games, 13 as a starter and averaged 7.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1 steal per 26 minutes which he spent on the court on average.

NBA krilo Henry Walker stiže u Cedevitu
Cedevita je objavila dogovor o suradnji sa 198 cm visokim 28-godišnjim Williamom Henry "Bill" Walkerom koji u nedjelju stiže u Zagreb. Nakon prolaska zdravstvenih testova bit će potpisan i ugovor kluba s igračem koji igra na obje krilne pozicije.
"Imamo sjajan ritam i dobre rezultate ali da bi to zadržali morali smo popuniti upražnjeno mjesto odlaskom Zubčića. Walker je igrač koji može odigrati i na pozicijama visokog i niskog krila, iskusan je i vjerujem da će nam pomoći i da će biti pojačanje", dolazak trećeg Amerikanca u klub pojasnio je Matej Mamić, sportski direktor Cedevite.
Nakon što je Walker prošao na draftu, uzimaju ga NBA Boston Celticsi u kojima u dvije sezone igra 37 utakmica s malom minutažom i posudbama u D-ligu Utah Flash i Maine Red Claws. Slijedeće tri sezone igra za New York Knickse a najbolje rezultate ostvario je u prvoj sezoni 10/11 kada za prosječnih 27 minuta ubacuje po 11,9 koševa uz 3,1 skokova. 2013. igrao je i za D-liga Austin Toros te u Venezueli da bi sezonu 13/14 proveo u D-liga Sioux Falls Skyforce i Filipinima. U Sioux Skyforce igra prošle sezone da bi ga 2015. uzeo NBA Miami Heat za koji igra 26 utakmica te 13 kao starter a u 26 prosječnih minuta na parketu upisuje 7,3 koša uz 3,4 skoka, 1,2 asistenciju i 1 ukradenu loptu.
