Game recap: They had 5 defeats in a row in ABA League... But, that losing streak has finally come to the end! Tajfun have scored their third win in this season, and this one was pretty sweet, because it came against a local rival - Union Olimpija. The winner was decided in the third quarter in which home side scored 32 points! The only bad thing for Tajfun was the injury of Emir Zimić. Big guy had to leave the game during the last quarter, due to knee injury.

Let's mention that before the game, Tajfun's president Dušan Debenak honoured Jana Führer and Henrik Planko, two citizens of šentjur, which successfully represented their town last month at the World Cup for athletes with disability in Doha and they received the applause from the entire Golovec sports hall.

Key moments: The result at the halftime was quite strange for basketball - 23:24. There were simply too many missed shots and turnovers, while Union Olimpija managed to go on the big break with minimal lead. But... Tajfun had an amazing third quarter! Home side scored 32 points in those 10 minutes, 9 more than in the entire first half! They escaped on a double digit lead and made the crucial step toward a win.

Man of the match: Sandi Čebular failed to score a three-pointer in this match, but he was "deadly" from other positions. At the end, the starting shooting guard of Tajfun finished the game with 16 points and had the overall index rating of 19.

Can't trick the stats: Two sides have pretty much similar numbers in the stats. However, Tajfun won the battle for rebounds and their players were much better in 2pts attempts. Two factors that eventually brought them victory.
