Cibona and Krka already in second round of FIBA Europe Cup

Cibona have qualified for the second stage of the competition in the FIBA Europe Cup, as they have beaten Benfica for the second time this season and secured themselves at least the second position in the Group at the end of first stage, already 2 rounds before the finish of the regular season. Cibosi have secured themselves a 15-point lead already in the first half and everything was decided. Ante Žižić topped Cibona's scorers' list with 21 points.
On the other hand, Tajfun have lost to ČEZ Nymburk for the second time this season and their chances of advancing into the second stage are now merely theoretical, since only the most optimistical scenario could lead them ahead now. Nymburk have been a better opponent throughout the game and have deservedly celebrated the win. Tomaž Bolčina was the top scorer of šentjur side this time with 22 points achieved.
It was not easy, but it was sweet. Krka had a tough job against FC Porto in the 4th round of the FIBA Europe Cup, but the team from Novo mesto scored a valuable win at the end.
