Olympiacos stopped Cedevita, Zvezda dropped +21 against Strasbourg

Very tough night for ABA League clubs in Euroleague. Both Cedevita and Crvena zvezda Telekom suffered defeats in the 6th round.

Cedevita was a worthy opponent to Olympiacos, but the Greek giant showed why are they the reigning vice-champions of Europe. They were simply better in key moments of the game. Despite playing without some of the best players such as Spanoulis and Printezis, the visitors had a great second half in which they scored many three pointers and made the crucial margin.

Crvena zvezda Telekom will remember this night in Strasbourg a long, long time. The red and whites had +18 at the halftime (52:34), while they opened the second half with a three-pointer for 55:34... +21... But, then the home team made one of the biggest comebacks in this season. Strasbourg increased their level in defense and started melting the margin... All the way until they took over the lead in the final moments of the fourth quarter. Crvena zvezda Telekom simply did not have enough strength to answer back.
