ABA League 12th round, Monday, 30.11.2015:
ZADAR - Igokea 69:60 (14:22, 19:17, 17:6, 19:15)
Game recap: Zadar have grabbed their seventh win of the season with a major comeback at home in Višnjik after a double digit deficit and stay in the race for reaching the playoffs this season. On the other hand, Igokea's chances of finishing near the top got smaller with this defeat against the major rival for a position in the upper half of the standings.
Key moments: Zadar have been down already with a double digit margin in the first half (37:27 in 19th minute), but managed to turn the game around at later stages of the game. The comeback actually began at the end of the first half, with that Ivan Ramljak's buzzer beating three pointer for 39:33 which made Višnjik hall explode. As the second half began, Zadar went on to increase the partial score to 18:2 until the 28th minute and the game was decided - Igokea did not have the strength to fight back.
Man of the match: Not only did he start the comeback, but Ivan Ramljak actually led Zadar in scoring too with 12 points, while he missed the double double figures by only 2 rebounds. He rightfully became the man of the match.
Can't trick the stats: Poor field goal execution by Igokea, or an excellent defense by Zadar, which made it happen, was the one that was decisive for the final outcome of the game. With only 33% shot from the field you simply can not win on a tough away grownd like Krešimir Ćosić Arena is.
