ABA League 13th round, Friday, 4.12.2015:
SUTJESKA - Zadar 71:60 (19:27, 12:9, 24:7, 16:17)
Game recap: Sutjeska have managed to get away with an important home victory in terms of their battle to avoid relegation, as they have outgunned Zadar in Nikšić. The guests were the ones that have gone off to a successful start, but Dušan Dubljević's squad have managed to turn the game around in their favour in the second half. This is the first triumph for Sutjeska after 8 games without a taste of a win and their fourth overall win this season. On the other hand, Zadar's three game winning streak is over, but this is anyway their only second loss in the past eight games played.
Key moments: Sutjeska have managed to turn the game in their favour in the third quarter, when they have stepped out of the locker room as a totally different team and have absolutely outplayed the opponent. In the first 10 minutes of the second part of the game, they created a 58:47 partial score in their favour and entered the final 10 minutes with a 12-point lead (55:43). It turned out that it was good enough to secure them a new pair of points.
Man of the match: We dare to claim that Radosav Spasojević was the x-factor this time for the home squad, as he did not only lead his team in scoring with 17 points, but has also collected 7 rebounds, 1 assist and a steal. But most important of all - during the 27 minutes, that he spent on court, Sutjeska have created themselves a 16-point advantage.
Can't trick the stats: Zadar opened the game with an excellent field goal shooting percentage, especially from beyond the arc. In the opening quarter they have been shooting three pointers 5/7 (71%). When their shooting percentage started to fall, so did their game fall apart. They finished the game with an only 37% shot from the field, which was obviously not enough to beat Sutjeska at their home ground this time.
