Game recap: Budućnost VOLI keep on marching towards the playoffs, as they have grabbed the second road victory in a row and fifth triumph in a row in general in the ABA League. This success keeps them alone atop of the standings after 14 rounds played. Krka was left without a chance for the second consecutive time at the home court against one of the top teams of the league, after Crvena zvezda Telekom was better in the previous round. The playoffs chances are slowly slipping away for Ivan Velić"s squad.
Key moments: Despite the slow start of Krka and the 11-point lead by Budućnost VOLI at half time, Krka managed to tie the game as it headed into the last quarter. However, between 35th and 37th minute, Budućnost hit again with a 9:2 run, which decided the outcome of the game, as the home side did not manage to recover after that 77:68 score in favour of the guests.
Man of the match: The MVP of the previous two rounds in the ABA League was phenomenal one again and finished the game with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. His valuation in the end was 25, the highest among all players and he deserved himself the man of the match honour.
Can't trick the stats: Budućnost VOLI demonstrated amazing teamwork in Novo mesto. They collected no less than 23 assists during the game and this is of course the fact that turned the clash in their favour in the end.
