Perfect start for Krka and Cibona
Krka and Cibona scored wins in the 1st round of the FIBA Europe Cup Round of 32 stage.
It could not have started better! Both ABA League clubs were victorious at the start of the Round of 32 stage in FIBA Europe Cup.
Cibona have triumphed at home court against Energia Rovinari! After 40 minutes two sides were tied at 81:81, but the Zagreb crew were better in the additional 5 minutes and scored an overtime win. James Brian Florence and Andrija Žižić made 23 points each for Cibona, while Marko Jagodić-Kuridža also deserves to be praised as he had 15 rebounds on this match!
Krka have faced Maccabi Rand Media in Novo mesto and scored a tight win! Stefan Sinovec was the top scorer in the winning side with 17 points, while he was also the hero of the game as he scored all free-throws in the last minute that secured a victory for his team.
