Zvezda joined Cedevita in Euroleague Top 16

Crvena zvezda Telekom is the second ABA League participant of the Euroleague Top 15. They made it after beating Bayern in the decisive game at home court in Pionir hall.

Crvena zvezda Telekom repeated the huge success of Cedevita, which also reached the Euroleague Top 16 stage of competition. In the decisive game at home court, Dejan Radonjić's squad were better than their direct competitior Bayern Munich and have taken the fourth place in Group A.

Zvezda did the job in fourth quarter which they have won by no less than 18 points of margin (29:11) and turned the game around in their favour.

In the Top 16, Zvezda will compete in Group E, together with Fenerbahce, Lokomotiv Kuban, Panathinaikos, Darussafaka, Cedevita, either Laboral Kutxa or Anadolu Efes and either Unicaja or CSKA Moscow.

Cedevita suffered a road defeat against Kutxa Laboral. Still, the most important thing is that the Zagreb side have qualified for the TOP 16 stage. They will play in Group E.

A defeat that does not hurt a bit. That was the outcome of the game between Kutxa Laboral and Cedevita. Team led by Veljko Mrsic could not stun famous Spanish club away, but the Zagreb side will anyway move to the next round!

There, Cedevita will play in Group E, while we are yet to see who will be their opponents in TOP 16 phase.
