Game recap: Cibona have beaten Tajfun on the road in Golovec Hall, Celje and stay perfect under the guidance of new head coach Damir Mulaomerović. Since the former Croatian international has taken over the helm of their squad from the hands of Slaven Rimac, Cibona have achieved a 2:0 score in ABA League and 3:0 overall. On the other hand, this was the first defeat by Tajfun after a 3-games long winning streak.
Key moments: The guests broke Tajfun"s resistance finally in the third quarter when they have, between 26th and 28th minute done a 13:0 run, took a 55:39 lead and silenced Golovec Hall. The hosts have never managed to recover from that blow.
Man of the match: Marko Jagodić-Kuridža was an unsolvable problem for Tajfun this time around as he led the way for his team towards the road victory in Celje. He performed with a double double (12 points and just as many rebounds) and added an assist to his numbers. With a playing index of 23, he is the man of the match.
Can"t trick the stats: Tajfun had 9 assists but almost twice as many turnovers - 16. Cibona on the other side, had a much more positive ratio (15/13) and this is probably the decisive fact, that decided the outcome of the game in Golovec.
