Game story: It was really exciting in Krešimir Ćosić Hall this Saturday. Krka have had the lead almost throughout the whole match, but Zadar eventually had a chance to take the win. Still, team from Novo mesto managed to stay in front in the final moments of the game and to grab a very important away victory.
Key moments: The first one happened in the third quarter. Zadar were on a big run, as they finally took over the lead from the visitors. But, Luka Lapornik scored 8 points in a row and returned his Krka in front. The away crew stayed there all the way until the end, but it must be mentioned that Zadar could have taken this game into overtime, at least. At the score 67:70, the hosts had the ball, with 20 seconds remaining on the clock. But, Ante Delaš lost it! Or better to write that Luka Lapornik made a steal! He got fouled, made both free-throws and it was over.
Man of the match: Ive Ivanov! Ex-player of Zadar was ruthless toward his former club. Experienced power forward had two 2+1 plays in the last 5 minutes and helped Krka to keep the lead.
Can't trick the stats: While being in offense, Krka was trying to play with more contact and that is why they had much more free-throws than Zadar. Eventually, Krka made 7 more free-throws than Zadar... Look at the final score.
