Krka lands Boban Tomić

After Matic Rebec Krka have signed with another Slovenian international point guard - Boban Tomić.

The experienced point guard has begun playing basketball in Janče and afterwards continued playing for several Slovenian first division teams, while adding the experience from German, Hungarian and Austrian Leagues to his CV.

In the previous season he played for Grosbasket Grosuplje and averaged 14.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game in 30 appearances in Slovenian national championship, where he was the second best passer. This season he has been playing in 1st division of Austrian League for the UBSC Graz. On average he played 34 minutes and achieved 16 points and 7 assists per contest.

In the summer he was a member of the Slovenian national team under the guidance of national team head coach Jure Zdovc. He did not survive the final cut and make it into the final squad of 12 selected players for the EuroBasket 2015.

Po Maticu Rebcu je Krka podpisala pogodbo še z enim slovenskim reprezentančnim organizatorjem igre Bobanom Tomićem.

Izkušeni organizator igre je košarko začel igrati v Jančah, nato pa je igral za več slovenskih prvoligaških moštev, ima pa tudi mednarodne izkušnje iz nemške, madžarske in avstrijske lige.

V lanski sezoni je igral za ekipo Grosbasketa iz Grosuplja, kjer je na 30 odigranih tekmah v povprečju zabeležil 14,9 točk, 3,8 skokov in 5,7 podaj ter bil drugi najboljši podajalec slovenskega državnega prvenstva. Letos je nastopal v 1. avstrijski ligi za ekipo UBSC Graz. V povprečju je igral 34 minut in v tem času 16 točkam dodal 7 asistenc na tekmo.
