Game recap: Budućnost VOLI are the winners of the second clash against Crvena zvezda Telekom. At home in amazing atmosphere of packed Morača hall (5,000 spectators), they have cracked the resistance of the red and white surprisingly fast, as they went on a 17-point lead already after 10 minutes of the game. This keeps the Podgorica side atop of the standings of the ABA League, while Crvena zvezda Telekom are now 2 points behind on the third place, behind second placed Cedevita.
However, Zvezda have won the first game between the two opponents by a bigger margin, 21 points, which means that they will finish in front of Budućnost at the end of the season, in case the two teams are tied by the number of victories.
Key moments: The guests haven"t been able to go in front for even one single time during the whole game. Since Budućnost VOLI took the 2:0 lead, they were in front or at least tied with the red and white (for the last time at 7:7 in third minute). The major part of the job was done by Luka Pavićević"s players already in the first quarter, when they have created themselves the highest lead of the game - 17 points (28:11).
Man of the match: With his double double performance (20 points, 10 rebounds), Tadija Dragićević who has been shining lately for Budućnost VOLI once again deserved himself the honour of the best individual of the game.
Can"t trick the stats: When taking a look at the stats, one can find out, that Crvena zvezda Telekom"s game was not bad at all. Furthermore, they were even better than the home squad in many statistical categories, but it is evident that their shooting percentage from the field is the one that buried their hopes of a victory. They only scored 3/18 three pointers (17%) and 18/48 2-pointers (38%), 32% altogether, which was not enough to threaten the leading team of the league.
