Story of the game: It was October 25... Cedevita suffered a home defeat against Zadar and triggered the alarm inside the club. But, head coach Veljko Mršić managed to regroup his team and to start raising the morale of the men from day to day. The outcome: 8 wins in a row in the ABA League and a spot among the top 16 clubs in Euroleague! Cedevita are indeed in a amazing form and they are looking to continue in the same style.
On the other side, Cibona were in a major crisis. At one point they were even sharing the last spot on the standings. However, the club made a coach change and scored three wins in a row! Two of them in ABA League and one in FIBA Europe Cup. Now, they want to increase the streak by beating the big city rival... And they will have a home court advantage on that mission.
Match-up in focus: Miro Bilan is looking really unstoppable in ABA League. In the last couple of weeks no one was able to confront him down in the paint, but Cibona have experienced Andrija Žižić who has played against world-class centers during his long and rich career. Will he be able to stop Bilan, or the center of Cedevita will have another amazing performance... We are about to find out the answer on Tuesday evening.
