Game recap: It was a big derby only on a paper. Down there on the court of Dražen Petrović Hall there was only one team. Cedevita! Boys coached by Veljko Mršić simply ran over Cibona, leaving the city rivals behind by a double digit margin! It was all over already in the first half, as Cedevita were ahead by 48:29… Miro Bilan was once again unstoppable. He won the duel against all three centers of Cibona!
Key moments: After trailing by 12:27 at the end of the first quarter, Cibona managed to raise their game level a bit and to reduce the margin to 23:30… But, then Cedevita made 8:0 run, escaped to 23:38 and stayed on double-digit margin until the end of the game.
Man of the match: Miro Bilan… It was a one-man show. He had overall index rating of 29 at the halftime!!! Bilan continued in the same rhythm after the break and eventually finished the game with 25 points, 7 rebounds and with overall index rating of 35!!!
Can"t trick the stats: When you have such a dominant player on the match than his stats are everything you need. Cibona tried to stop Miro Bilan with Andrija Žižić, Ivica Zubac and recently recovered Ante Žižić… Without success.
