One out of two. In the second round of FIBA Europe Cup, ABA League clubs scored one win and suffered one defeat. Cibona was the one that triumphed this Wednesday. They defeated Pieno Zvaigzdes on the road thanks to brilliant display of Ante Žižić! Young player scored 27 points and had 13 rebounds!!! That is what you call a double double achievement!
Unfortunately, Krka were not successful, as they suffered a road defeat against Kataja. It was a very close game, team from Novo mesto managed to approach at 84:82, with 60 seconds remaining on the clock... But, the hosts had more concentration at the end and prevailed in a thrilling finish.
