Union Olimpija keep waiting for their first Eurocup Last 32 victory of the season. At home in Stožice Arena they have failed to triumph against former Russian Euroleague side Nizhny Novgorod. For the green and white the first half was fatal, since they lost it by 13 points.
Solid second half display (38:31 in their favour) did not help them to take the first pair of points in the second phase of the Eurocup and they will have to try to perform better in some of the remaining three games. The final score was 79:73 in favour of the guests.
Miha Lapornik was the top scorer this time for the ABA League side from Ljubljana with 15 points. Dawan Robinson and Sava Lešić followed him with 14 points scored each.
