Game recap: The way towards grabbing a new pair of points on the road in Valjevo wasn"t an easy one for the ABA League frontrunners Budućnost VOLI, which decided the game finally in their favour no earlier than a minute before the end. Metalac Farmakom, that are still struggling to protect their spot in the regional competition and avoid one of the last two spots which mean relegation, will have to search for their better luck against other opponents, that are still waiting for them until the end of the season. This was the second defeat in a row for Vladimir Đokić"s squad for which Nikola Jevtović shined with 29 points!
Key moments: Budućnost VOLI have started strongly and have started increasing their lead from the very beginning and as early as by 11th minute, they have created themselves the first double digit lead of the game (23:12).
The home side did manage to cut the deficit to only a point with a minute and a half left in the game thanks to their excellent second half, but afterwards did not manage to score at all anymore, while Sead šehović made a nice drive to the hoop with the minute on the clock remaining, which determined the winner finally.
Man of the match: Suad šehović was the man that led the way towards the 12th win in a row for Budućnost VOLI. He topped the team in scoring with 14 points, while adding 5 rebounds, 2 assists and just as many steals in his stats. His valuation of 19 was also the highest in the team of guests.
Can"t trick the stats: Metalac Farmakom did pretty similar to Budućnost VOLI in terms of the stats, but they reveal one very important thing - you cannot win in unless you don"t play well as a team. Out of 61 points by the home side, 29 were scored by only one man - Nikola Jevtović. To beat the top team of the league, you simply have to have more than one player in the winning mood.
