Game recap: It was a great evening for Igokea. The fans have once again gathered in large number in the local hall to help the team in this important match… And, the players repayed them with a good display and with a very valuable win over Cibona. On the other side, the only good thing for the visitors is that they managed to keep the margin under 14 points, so they now have better head to head score over Igokea. We will see if that will matter at the end of the regular season…
Key moments: Both teams had some very good periods in this match. Igokea opened the second quarter with 15:0 run and took over the lead… It turned out that the hosts have stayed in front until the end of the match! Cibona answered in the last quarter with 15:2 run to reduce the margin from 49:35 to 51:50… But, then Igokea caught a good rhythm, quickly made a 11:2 run and once again escaped to a safe distance - 62:52. There was not enough time for another major comeback.
Man of the match: Vuk Radivojević. As always, he was there for his team when they needed him the most. Experienced point guard scored some very important three-pointers in the second half, while he finished the match with 16 points.
Can"t trick the stats: Cibona had some really bad shooting percentage, while on top of that they were making too many turnovers. At the end of the game they had 17!
