Story of the game: Cibona had a really tough week. They lost the game against Igokea in the previous round of ABA League, while then they suffered an overtime defeat in FIBA Europe Cup which might cost them qualification to the next stage. Therefore, they need to regain good atmosphere in the team and the best way to do that is to start winning again. Cibona will try to defeat Sutjeska for the second time in this season and to perhaps make the crucial step away from the relegation zone.
On the other side, Sutjeska are in a very unpleasant situation, as they lost two previous games in ABA League and they are now sharing the last spot on the standings with Tajfun. The boys from Nikšić will therefore do everything to upset Cibona on their court in order to finally move from the bottom of the table.
Match-up in focus: Ante Žižić vs. Ratko Varda. Believe it or not, but Ratko Varda is twice as old as Žižić!!! Super talented center of Cibona is just an 18-year old kid, while Varda is an 36-year old experienced player with fantastic career behind him. It will be very interesting to watch them playing face to face.
