Cedevita in Russia, Zvezda will paint Vršac into red and white

The second part of the Euroleague TOP 16 stage starts today! Cedevita have a very difficult away challenge in Russia, while Crvena zvezda Telekom will this time play their home game outside Belgrade...

Cedevita need to somehow stop their losing streak in the Euroleague, as they suffered 3 defeats in a row. But, to do that in this round, they will have to outplay the second placed team from Group E - Lokomotiv Kuban (Thursday, 19:00, CET). On the road!

Russian powerhouse lost only two games in the first part of the TOP 16 phase, the one from Fenerbahce and the other from Crvena zvezda Telekom... We all hope that Cedevita might be the third team to stop Lokomotiv in this stage.

One day later, Crvena zvezda Telekom will be fighting one of the crucial battles in TOP 16. The red and whites will host Anadolu Efes (Friday, 20:00 CET), their direct rival for a place among the best 4 teams in the group.

The interesting thing about this match is that it won't be played in Belgrade, as all big basketball halls are occupied this week. Therefore, Crvena zvezda Telekom decided to host this match in Vršac, a town that will be fully painted in red and white colors on Friday evening.
