ABA League 25th round, Saturday, 27.2.2016:
KRKA - Mega Leks 74:57 (21:7, 21:22, 16:8, 16:20)
Game recap: Krka have made a huge step towards avoiding the relegation zone at the end of the season by upsetting the playoffs-bound Mega Leks in their last game in front of the home crowd in the ABA League. Krka are now two wins up in comparison to the highest placed team in the relegation zone - Sutjeska - which have played one game less so far.
Key moments: With energy-packed beginning of the game, Krka have shocked the visitors and limited them to no more than 7 points in the opening quarter. The pressure continued and in 12th minute the score was already 26:10 for Vladimir Anzulović"s squad. It turned out that this was fatal for the pink and green, which did not manage to return into the battle for the final victory until the very end.
Man of the match: Undisputedly, Luka Lapornik was the man of the match of the winning Krka"s side. He topped his team in scoring with 18 points achieved, while adding 4 rebounds, 4 steals and an assist to his stats. In the end of the game, his valuation was 26, the most on both sides.
Can't trick the stats: The assists/turnovers ratio was the decisive in the end. While the winners had 21 assists compared to 12 turnovers, Mega Leks turned 18 balls over, while delivering only 10 assists. This was the key for Krka to come out on top in the end.
