At the press conference in Belgrade, Crvena zvezda Telekom head coach Dejan Radonjić and captain Branko Lazić spoke about the forthcoming opening game of the ABA League semi-finals against Cedevita.

Dejan Radonjić, Crvena zvezda Telekom head coach:

"I have already spoken about what is awaiting us on Tuesday. The value of the ABA League Playoffs is huge, both for us and for Cedevita. We are going through a very tough schedule, but we do have a big desire to play a good game. Cedevita have made a great success by qualifying for the Euroleague TOP 16 stage, and if they had not had some problems with injuries, I am convinced that they would have scored several more wins. They have had enough time to prepare for this game and they have arrived in Belgrade with ambition to make a break. We have had three duels in this season, two in the regional competition and one in Euroleague, and it is now up to us to score the very first win against Cedevita in the ABA League. To achieve that we will need to play good throughout the whole game and to respond on the high quality that Cedevita have. Pionir Hall must be united on Tuesday evening both on and off the court. So, fans come to the hall and be with us in this important match.”

Branko Lazić, Crvena zvezda Telekom player:

"Finally, it begins. The Playoffs! We had a lot of troubles at the start of the season, but we have managed to reach one of our primary goals, and that is to advance to the Playoffs and to have a chance to defend the title. As far as the first game against Cedevita is concerned, we are ready to step out on the court, to give our best and to try to write down the first win in the series. I want to invite our fans to help us on that journey, because our participation in the Euroleague in the next season depends on the ABA League Playoffs. Therefore, I am inviting them to come to Pionir Hall and help us score an important win.”
