A thrilling ending was seen in Krasnoyarsk in the first Quarter-final game of the FIBA Europe Cup and the home side were eventually the ones to get away with a victory and take the lead in the series before the second leg, which will be played in Zagreb.

It has indeed been anybody"s game since the very beginning and until the end. Cibona were up by 4 points after 4 quarter and down by a point at half time and 2 points after three quarters. Two minutes before the end of the game, Damir Mulaomerović"s side led 85:81, but in half a minute, Enisey went on a 7:0 run, which eventually decided the game. James Florence did score a three-pointer with 24 seconds remaining to tie the game to 91:91, but James on the other answered in the same fashion with only 2 seconds on the clock. This was a point from which there was no more return for the Zagreb ABA League side.

Ante Žižić shined for Cibona with 28 points, while James Florence added 17.
