Dejan Milojević, Mega Leks head coach:
"We did not play well enough in order to win. We were poor on defense and have allowed the opponent to score 95 points. We were not aggressive enough. Due to the well-known situation with short rotation, the players were saving their strengths on the defensive end. But this is not the way to beat Crvena zvezda Telekom. Whoever is on court must give his maximum. To be aggressive and to play like he did throughout the season. This game brought us these finals and the trophy in Radivoj Korać Cup. We need to analyse our mistakes, to raise our game on defense and to go back to Sremska Mitrovica with the score of 1:1.”
Nikola Ivanović, Mega Leks player:
"The first game of the finals was specific for us, after a bit longer period. Above all, we did not play the way we did throughout the season on the defensive end. Crvena zvezda Telekom took advantage of this, had great assists and open shots. And in the end they have deservedly celebrated. This are the Playoffs. There is no time to grieve. We need to make an analysis and to be in the highest possible level in the second game in order to celebrate.”
