Lithuanians too strong for Mega and Zvezda at ANGT openers

In their opening game of the Euroleague"s U18 Adidas Next Generation Tournament, Mega Bemax were defeated by Žalgiris Kaunas with the score of 81:68. In a pretty even game, Žalgiris pulled away no earlier than in the final quarter, which they won by 9 points, after being in front only by four after 30 minutes. For Mega, Marko Pecarski led the way in scoring with 17 points, while Nikola Mišković added 15.
In Group B, Crvena zvezda Telekom have opened their clash against Lietuvos Rytas in a dominant fashion, taking a 25:13 lead after the first quarter. However, by half time, the Lithuanians have tied the score to 35 apiece and after 30 minutes pulled away to an 11-point margin. They sticked to their lead until the very end, when they celebrated a 77:70 victory. For Zvezda, Aleksa Uskoković topped the scorers" list with 19 points, while Stefan Đorđević contributed 13.
