It is always very important to defend the home court advantage at the start of any Playoffs series, and Mega Leks have done it against FMP. The squad from Sremska Mitrovica triumphed in Game 1 of the clash for the 3rd place in the Serbian National Championship.
After a very close first half, Mega Leks turned on their famous engines in the second half and managed to break the resistance of the very good away team. Nikola Ivanović was simply brilliant in the winning side as he put up 24 points and had 10 assists (index rating 31), while he had a great help from Rade Zagorac who finished the match with 15 points and 10 rebounds (index rating 29) and from Petar Popović - 16 points (index rating 19).
On the other side, Ognjen Dobrić scored 28 points (index rating 26), however that was not enough for FMP to make a break.
The first team that collect 3 wins will win the 3rd place in the Serbian National Championship 2015/16.
