What a thriller in Game 2 of the Serbian National Championship Finals! Marko Gudurić scored a game-winning three-pointer just 1 second before the end of the match, so his Crvena zvezda Telekom now have the overall lead of 2-0 against Partizan NIS. The red and whites therefore need just one more win the defend the throne in their country.

It was an epic comeback of the reigning champions. Crvena zvezda Telekom were down by 20 points at one moment - 50:30, while they entered the last quarter with a deficit of 10 points - 72:62. However, their famous defense changed the flow of the match.

The red and white crew even managed to take the lead on 2 minutes before the end -77:78, however Partizan NIS answered back with a a three pointer of Vanja Marinković - 80:78. While when Novica Veličković made another three-pointer for 83:80, with just 60 seconds remaining on clock, it looked like that the black and white squad will manage to defend the home court.

Marko Gudurić did not think so.

Both sides had 4 free-throws. Stefan Jović and Maik Zirbes scored all of them for Zvezda, while on the other side Kevin Jones made two, but Jamar Wilson scored just 1 for 86:84. Crvena zvezda had 13 seconds to do something.

The ball ended up in the hands of Marko Gudurić, he made a step back and made a shot from way behind the 3-point line. The ball bounced off the board and went IN - 86:87!!! There was only 1 second left on the clock and Partizan NIS simply could not do anything.

Crvena zvezda won the match and doubled their lead in the final series to 2-0.

Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7.
