PRESEASON: Victories for Cibona and Partizan, MZT defeated in Thessaloniki

New day of preseason games is over. Cibona were better than Enisey, Partizan NIS better than Steaua. MZT Skopje were defeated on the road against PAOK.

Partizan NIS have underwent their sixt preseason game this summer and for the fourth time they have come out on top. This time their victim were Steaua players that resisted the Belgrade ABA League side well for a half, when they were only three points away from the black and white, but then lost track with the Steamroller, which eventually won 67:61.

On Partizan"s side Stefan Birčević was the top scorer with 13 points, while Marko Luković added 12 to the black and white scoresheet.

Cibona have beaten Enisey Krasnoyarsk at home court for the second time in only a couple of days. The Zagreb ABA League side triumphed with the score of 79:73, thanks to their excellent first quarter performance and 23:8 lead after the opening 10 minutes. In the remainder of the game, the guests managed to cut the gap, but they did not have enough strength to turn the game around.

Ante Žižić was magnificent once again, having scored 24 points and grabbed 7 rebounds, while Elijah Johnson followed him with 19.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom lost their first preseason test, in Thessaloniki against PAOK after a fierce battle. The final score was 76:72 in favour of the Greeks.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom put on a great battle in their first preseason game, which they have played on the road in Thessaloniki against PAOK. In the end, they were defeated by four points, which was a consequence of their slow start, when they have lost the first quarter by 16 points (24:8), but still left a good impression. The Skopje ABA League side returned into the battle for the triumph and lost in the end with the final score of 76:72.

Đorđe Drenovac led the way in scoring for the MZT with 23 points, while Xavier Thames added 16 for his team.
