Zadar down Budućnost, Cedevita suffer 1st defeat in preseason
The fans of Zadar will have plenty of reasons to be satisfied about today’s results of the friendly basketball tournament that is currently taking place in their city. Simply, because basketball club Zadar outplayed Budućnost VOLI after a truly great performance in the Krešimir Ćosić Arena.
We had an ABA league clash on the Day 2 of Zadar Dogus Basketball Tournament 2016….
The fans of Zadar will have plenty of reasons to be satisfied about today’s results of the friendly basketball tournament that is currently taking place in their city. Simply, because basketball club Zadar outplayed Budućnost VOLI after a truly great performance in the Krešimir Ćosić Arena.
The boys in white jerseys had a flying start of this match as they won the 1st quarter by 30:19. After that the hosts were just keeping their lead and managed to stay in front until the end.
Jakov Vladović, Ivan Marinković and Boris Barać scored 18 points each for the winning side, while Shawn James was the top scorer in Budućnost with 19 points.
At the same tournament, Cedevita suffered their very 1st defeat in the preseason. The Orange crew were just powerless today against Lokomotiv Kuban, especially in the first half in which the Russian team scored 9 three-pointers!
Miro Bilan and David Stockton made 15 points each for Cedevita.
