2016/17 ABA League Season - Karpoš Sokoli

For the first time in their history Karpoš Sokoli will be part of the ABA League. And, the club from Skopje wants to prove it can be a worthy opponent to any basketball powerhouse in the region.

Exactly 20 years after being founded, Karpoš Sokoli are standing in front of the biggest challenge in their history. They are about to start their first ever ABA League journey.

The Falcons want to show that they deserve a place in the elite class. In order to to that, they have acquired several new players during the summer.

Perhaps their biggest signing in the current transfer period is former member of Serbia national team Dragan Labović. Experienced power forward has a long and successful international career and he has already showed in the preseason games that he will be a big asset to the 2016/17 roster.

Also, the squad from Skopje signed two more Serbian players - point guard Uroš Duvnjak and center Dragan Zeković, while the latest addition to the 2016/17 roster was the American duo - Kendrick Perry and Lamont Mack.

The position of head coach is reserved for Siniša Matić, who was leading the club in the previous season as well.

Karpoš Sokoli formed a respectful team and it will be very interesting to see them in action on ABA League courts.
