Union Olimpija seek their first ever win in Laktaši

After beating Karpoš Sokoli on the road in Skopje, Igokea will take on Union Olimpija at home in Laktaši. Union Olimpija, still winless this season, will try to snatch their first ever win on the road against Igokea.

Story of the game: Igokea are expecting Union Olimpija at home in Laktaši full of optimism, after an important victory on the road in Skopje against Karpoš Sokoli. Another success would take them to the upper half of the standings, where they wish to find themselves in a long term.

On the other hand, Union Olimpija are still waiting for their first success this season. After they let go of the big lead in the first round game against Mega Leks in Sremska Mitrovica, they also suffered a defeat at home against Krka in Slovenian national championship. They wish to end their mini negative streak and by doing so they would write history – Union Olimpija has never ever yet won in Laktaši. But, everything once happens for the first time. At Olimpija's side Semen Saškov and Aljaž Stopar are currently sidelined with injuries, while Dušan Mlađan's appearance is currently under the question mark due to an injury.

Match-up in focus: James Robinson appeared for the first time in an official game for Igokea in the second round against Karpoš Sokoli and his impact on the team was fantastic. He had 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists which lifted his team over the opponent. On the other side, his competitor this time will be Blaž Mesiček, one of the most talented youngsters of the league, which proved his value against Mega Leks. It will be a true battle of two excellent guards.
