Cibona aiming for the top against Karpoš Sokoli

Cibona are looking forward to another home game in ABA League, at home against still winless newcomers Karpoš Sokoli and they only have one goal on their mind – to score a new win in their hunt for a Playoffs spot.

Story of the game: The forthcoming clash in Zagreb has extremely obvious favourites and underdogs,as Cibona, which have been defeated only once this season – on a tough away court in Belgrade against Partizan NIS – will face newcomers Karpoš Sokoli, which still don't know how sweet an ABA League victory is.
Luckily for the guests, the favourites do not always win and with a change made recently in their roster, when Lamont Mack left their team, Karpoš will try to upset the hosts in Dražen Petrović dome.
In case they succeed, this will be a historical event both for them and the ABA League – since this would be the first ever win for this Macedonian side in the regional competition.
Match-up in focus: It will be interesting to evolve how things would unfold at the point guard position, where Cibona will in the absence of injured Žan Mark Šiško, be able to count only on Elijah Johnson, while two non-natural point guards Paolo Marinelli and Nebojša Joksimović will assist him. On the other side, Karpoš Sokoli have their deadliest weapon at this position – Kendrick Perry. Can this be their chance?
