The upcoming ABA League weekend will start a bit earlier than before, as Zadar and Igokea face each other already on Thursday in the opening match of Round 8.
ABA League 8th round, Thursday, 3.11.2016
Where? Krešimir Ćosić Arena, Zadar
When? 17:00
Story of the game: Zadar returns to their Krešimir Ćosić Arena, where they scored all of their 3 wins so far in the 2016/17 season. The white and blue crew suffered a tough defeat last week, when they lost the match against Krka just by a single point. Therefore, Zadar now want to bounce back on their feet and to score another triumph in front of their fans, but they will certainly not have an easy task...
Igokea are playing some very good basketball in this season. They even had a flying start with 3-1 overall score, but then they suffered 3 consecutive defeats... Still, it must be mentoned that Igokea played against Budućnost VOLI, Crvena zvezda mts and Cedevita in those 3 rounds and that they even had a big chance to win 2 out of those 3 games. The squad from Aleksandrovac hope that they will break the losing streak on Thursday evening in Zadar.
Match-up in focus: Zadar point guard Jakov Vladović wil try to use his experience in the clash against the top scorer of Igokea James Robinson. That duel will be very important when the final outcome of the match is concerned.
Head to head in regional league: In total 4:6; In Zadar 4:1.
