Sunday lunchtime basketball show in Novo mesto

In the opening game of Sunday's ABA League programme, Krka will host MZT Skopje Aerodrom in ŠD Leona Štuklja, Novo mesto. While Krka chase their fifth win of the season, MZT chase their third.

Story of the game: In the first game of the ABA League on Sunday, Krka will host MZT Skopje Aerodrom in ŠD Leona Štuklja in the lunchtime hours. It will be a clash of two sides that will try their best to continue on the winning path, since Krka have won last three games in the ABA League and MZT Skopje Aerodrom came out victorious from the last one, at home against Union Olimpija.

Besides the winning streak, Krka will try as well to continue their successful tradition in the home games against MZT Skopje Aerodrom at home in Novo mesto. By now they have won 3 out of 4 home games against the Macedonian side in Leon Štukelj Hall. In case they win it again, it will be their fifth triumph of the season, while MZT are chasing their third.

Krka will play this game without injured Darko Jukic, while the appearances of Ron Curry, Erjon Kastrati and Jure Ritlop are to be put besides the question mark. MZT are coming to Novo mesto without Charlon Kloof, Uroš Lučić and possibly without Marko Simonovski as well.

Match-up in focus: Marko Luković has been the main weapon of Krka so far this season and it is interesting that this time he will face his old teammates of MZT Skopje Aerodrom, where he spent the last season. On the other side there will be Great Britain national team member Daniel Clark, who has proven himself to be a valuable reinforcement of his team since he joined them, that will be able to outplay him. Will he manage to do it?
