EC: Olimpija, MZT and Budućnost approaching another Eurocup week

It's time for the 9th round of Eurocup, with three ABA League representatives going out at the European basketball stage on Wednesday evening.

Unfortunately, Olimpija Ljubljana, MZT Skopje Aerodrom and Budućnost VOLI all lost their chances of reaching the next stage of Eurocup, so they will only play for their honor in the remaining two rounds of the competition.

Olimpija Ljubljana will host Valencia this week. This is the final game for the Dragons in Eurocup in this season, while they will certainly give their best to finish the campaign with a win over the Spanish giant.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom will play against Nizhny Novgorod at home. The Russian team prevailed in the previous head to head match after a dramatic finish, so hopefully the luck will this time be on the side of MZT.

Finally, Budućnost VOLI await Zenit St. Petersburg in Podgorica. The Blue squad are still without a win in 2016/17 Eurocup season and they stayed without chances of qualifying for the next round, but this game will definitely help them a lot in preparing for the upcoming ABA League derby against Crvena zvezda mts.

Cedevita are free this week, while they have already qualified for the next stage of Eurocup.
