In a local derby of two teams from the bottom of the standings, two young teams will battle to escape the danger zone in the standings, as Mega Leks will host FMP in the opening game of Sunday’s ABA League programme.

Story of the game: It will be an interesting clash on Sunday afrernoon in Pinki Sports Hall, where Mega Leks will host FMP in what will be a battle of two teams from the very bottom of the standings.
Mega Leks are hoping to get back on the winning track again after four straight defeats in the ABA League and their hopes are a bit higher now that they have beaten Mornar during the week in the Basketball Champions League. Besides that, their roster is now strengthened with a new big man Aleksandar Marelja, which reinforced the Sremska Mitrovica squad these days.
On the other side, FMP have done this same task last round when they have outscored Zadar at home court after five defeats in a row and wish to continue in this style.
At the moment, there are no injury problems at FMP, while Mega Leks will host them without injured Marko Tejić, Ognjen Čarapić and Nikola Rebić.
Match-up in focus: Rade Zagorac’s name has been established as the name of one of the best young players of the league already last season and this season he is confirming his value. This season, though, he is spending more time in the paint and his rival will this time be the upcoming star of the FMP – Jonah Bolden. It will be fun to watch two great prospects battle for every ball under the rim.
