Crvena zvezda mts are keeping up with excellent performances in the elite European basketball competition, as they have outplayed Real Madrid at home in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, Belgrade in the 14th round!
The red and white have grabbed their 6th win of this EuroLeague season and they did it with style, by outplaying the mighty Real Madrid at home in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, Belgrade. The Spanish royal club are therefore the second European powerhouse in a row, that looked completely lost in the game against red and white in EuroLeague, as far as the games in Belgrade are concerned, after the same happened to Maccabi last week.
In the end, we can argue that Zvezda's win is fully deserved, since the guests got in front on only one occasion during the game – between 11th and 12th minute, and quickly fell behind again. The reigning ABA League champions achieved their highest lead in the 31st minute, when they went up by 16 points (67:51) and they never let go of the lead again until the very end.
The final score was 82:70 in favour of Dejan Radonjić's squad. Marko Simonović was the top scorer with 20 points, while Marko Gudurić contributed 12.
