ANGT: Olimpija and Cedevita trying to win a ticket to Istanbul

Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament season tips off on Friday, January 6, with the opening day of ANGT Qualifying Tournament - Torneig de Bàsquet Junior Ciutat de L’Hospitalet. Olimpija Ljubljana and Cedevita will participate at this tournament.
The first out of four Adidas Next Generation Qualifying Tournaments is about to take place in the suburbs of Barcelona, with two ABA League teams trying to win a ticket to Istanbul.
Junior teams of Olimpija Ljubljana and Cedevita have traveled to Spain to participate at this tournament, while they will start the competition from different groups.
Group A: U18 Barcelona Lassa, U18 Olimpija Ljubljana, U18 Alba Berlin, U18 Herbalife Gran Canaria Las Palmas.
Group B: U18 Cedevita Zagreb, U18 Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens, U18Torrons Vicens L'Hospitalet, U18 Divina Seguros Joventut Badalona.
In the opening round of the tournament, U18 Olimpija Ljubljana will face the reigning European champions U18 Barcelona Lassa, while U18 squad of Cedevita will play against U18 Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens.
The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, while the winner of the tournament will qualify for the ANGT Finals which will be held during the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four in Istanbul, Turkey from May 18 to 21, 2017.
