Crvena zvezda mts will host Krka in the 18th round of ABA League. The home side are looking for the 18th consecutive win, while the visitors will try to pull off a major upset in Belgrade.

ABA League 18th round, Sunday, 15.1.2017:

CRVENA ZVEZDA MTS - KRKA

Where? Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, Belgrade

When? 17:00

Story of the game: The whole Europe is talking about the red & white squad from Belgrade. Not just that Crvena zvezda mts are the only undefeated team in the region, but they are scoring some impressive wins in Euroleague as well. The boys coached by Dejan Radonjić are indeed playing stunning basketball and they are not planning to stop. Their operation "Perfect score" continues this Sunday, when they host Krka in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall.

The visitors are not really coming to Belgrade in high spirits and you can guess the reason. Krka have suffered 9 consecutive defeats in ABA League and they are currently sitting at the bottom of the standings. The squad from Novo mesto definitely need to break this awful streak as soon as possible, while we are about to see if they will manage to do it against the reigning champions.

Match-up in focus: Marko Simonović has grown into one of the key players in offense for Crvena zvezda mts. His shooting skills are better than ever, while this time he will have a duel with another great scorer - Marko Luković. Krka power forward has just recently recovered from injury, but he has not forgotten how to make shots.

Head to head in regional league: In total 14:5; In Belgrade 7:2.
