Story of the game: Crvena zvezda mts haven't been in this kind of situation so far in 2016/17 season. The red & white crew from Belgrade suffered 3 consecutive defeats, counting both ABA League and Euroleague, and that is the streak which they want to end immediately. On Sunday evening, Zvezda will play against Cibona in Belgrade and the hosts will have one and only goal - To get back on the winning track.
As far as the visitors are concerned, they suffered 4 defeats in a row in ABA League and therefore stayed really far away from the Playoffs zone. On top of that, Cibona cannot really brag about the successful record when playing in Belgrade, as they won only 2 away games against Crvena zvezda out of the previous 16 head to head games! Still, The Wolves are approaching this match in high spirits after achieving that pretty important victory in the FIBA Europe Cup, so everything is possible on Sunday evening.
