Story of the game: It was quite easy to pick the match of the round this week. Simply because, we have the game between the 3rd placed team and the 2nd placed team!
Cedevita currently have 1 win less than Partizan NIS, but everything might change this Sunday evening when two sides face each other in Zagreb.
The math is quite clear for the Orange crew. If they beat Partizan NIS in this round they will get past the black & white squad on the standings, because they will have better head to head score. Recall that Cedevita triumphed in Belgrade in the 1st part of the season by 97:87.
On the other side, if Partizan NIS win in the upcoming match, then the Belgrade side will have two wins more than Cedevita. And, considering that there will be just 4 rounds left in the Regular Season it would be a huge advantage in the race for the 2nd spot.
Each team is approaching this game in excellent atmosphere. They were both victorious in the previous round of ABA League, while they also wrote down wins in European competitions during the past week. Therefore, expect another ABA League spectacle this weekend.
