Olimpija qualified for the semifinals of Slovenian Cup, Krka close to do the same
Union Olimpija successfully passed the first test in the Slovenian Cup. Krka still have to confirm their semifinals ticket.

This was a good day for ABA League teams who are participating in Slovenian Cup. Union Olimpija have qualified to the tournament semifinals after beating Helios Suns for the 2nd time in just 2 days. Recall that in the 1st leg Union Olimpija triumphed by 87:70 at home, while this evening the Dragons prevailed on the road by 68:63 and booked their ticket for the semifinals.
At the same time, Krka are very close to join them in that stage, as the team from Novo mesto beat Sixt Primorska away in the 1st leg of the quarterfinals - 59:58. The overall margin is not large, but Krka will play the 2nd leg at home which will make things much easier for the ABA League side.
