After a few days of break for the domestic cups, the ABA League goes on with the Monday night Zagreb derby of Cedevita and Cibona in Dražen Petrović Arena.

Story of the game: The ABA League season goes on after a short break for the domestic cup competitions and the next chapter is about to begin with a bang – with the Zagreb city derby of Cibona and Cedevita in the Dražen Petrović Arena.
Until the previous round this would have been a clash for a spot in the Playoffs, but now Cedevita are also confirmed as participants and Cibona have lost their chances of qualifying for the top four. However, this does not in any way lower the importance of the clash, since the status of the ruler of Zagreb has always been a matter of prestige.
Cedevita are heading into the game as the newly crowned domestic Cup champions. On the other hand, Cibona, that have been eliminated in the semi-finals of domestic cup, have had therefore one day more to prepare for the clash, which could be vital heading into the game.
Match-up in focus: The clash under the rim will be the one to watch this time. Cibona has Luka Žorić, which has demonstrated that he will be the reinforcement in the proper sense of the word, while on the other end, Cedevita’s Miro Bilan has been heating up towards his optimal shape lately and will not give him an easy time in the paint. Who will prevail this time inside?
