MATCH OF THE ROUND: Cedevita’s strength vs. Tivoli magic
In the match of the 25th round Union Olimpija are set to host Cedevita in the legendary Tivoli hall in Ljubljana. Will Cedevita be more successful than the other two playoffs sides Budućnost VOLI and Partizan NIS, which have previously fallen in Tivoli against the green and white.

Story of the game: In the match of the 25th round the giants of Ljubljana and Zagreb will meet in legendary Tivoli Hall. A lot is on stake for both sides. Union Olimpija are fighting to find themselves in the upper half of the standings when the regular season ends and on the other hand, Cedevita are currently holding in their hands the second place and the home court advantage in the semi-finals and they do not wish to gamble with this.
Cedevita are currently on a 5:0 run in the ABA League and they wish to continue in the same fashion now that the decisive moments of the season are approaching. However, to do so, they will have to beat not only Union Olimpija but also their “Tivoli magic”, which was too much for both their competitors for the second spot, Budućnost VOLI and Partizan NIS, before.
The first time that the two sides have met this season, Cedevita were convincingly stronger than the Dragons, with the score of 102:87.
Match-up in focus: The clash of titans will be seen under the rim, as two of the main contenders for the MVP title this season will stand one against another and battle for every ball in the paint. Nikola Janković or Miro Bilan? Impossible to predict!
