PLAYER STATS: Marinković, Kaba, Reynolds, Luković...
It's time to see who had the highest numbers in the 2016/17 ABA League regular season.

Index rating: You already know who is the winner in this category. It's Nikola Janković of Union Olimpija who is officially the MVP of the 2016/17 ABA League regular season.
Points: Usually the top scorer of the league comes from some of the top placed teams, but not in this case. Ivan Marinković of Zadar have had an outstanding season, scoring 443 points in 25 games, which is 17.7 points per match. Not just that he picked up the top scorer of the season award but he also helped his Zadar avoid the last place on the standings in a thrilling regular season race.
Rebounds: Here comes the big man from Mega Leks - Alpha Kaba is top rebounder of the 2016/17 ABA League regular season. He collected 188 rebounds in total, which is 7.6 rebounds per match.
Interesting enough, Kaba is not leading the stats in offensive/defensive rebounds per match categories. Marko Luković of Krka averaged 5.4 defensive rebounds per match, while Josh Scott of MZT Skopje Aerodrom had the average number of 3.2 offensive rebounds per match.
Assists: Two American players marked this category. Marcus Williams of Budućnost VOLI had far the most assists in the 2016/17 ABA League regular season - 163, but when we are looking at the average number then Scott Reynolds of Cibona leads the race with 6.9 assists per match.
Steals: You would probably never guess which player had the most steals in the 2016/17 campaign... It's Karpoš Sokoli center Dragan Labović who collected 45 steals in the ongoing season. Still, the highest average score has Scott Reynolds of Cibona who was making 2 steals per match.
Blocks: It was a fierce battle between Uroš Luković of Partizan NIS and Octavius Ellis of Mornar, while at the end Luković came out on top. Partizan NIS center had 43 blocks, which is 1.7 blocks per match.
Turnovers: Unfortunately, someone has to be "the best" in this category as well. This year that title is going to the hands of Scott Reynolds of Cibona who averaged 3.5 turnovers per match. At the same time, Matic Rebec of Krka had the most turnovers in this season - 79.
