Zvezda clinch the Treble

Crvena zvezda mts have finished the 2016/17 season with three major trophies in their cupboard! After winning the ABA League and the Serbian Cup, the red & white squad clinched the 2016/17 Serbian Championship crown by beating FMP in the final series.

Zvezda dominated the Serbian Championship Finals, as they defeated FMP by 3-0 in wins.

Game 3 was pretty much similar to the previous two matches. Crvena zvezda mts had a powerful opening as they were up by 17:2 run already in the 5th minute, with Ognjen Dobrić scoring 13 points in that period.

The red & white squad continued dominating the court and increasing their lead. It was 46:24 at the halftime, 75:42 after the 3rd quarter and finally - 87:57 at the end.

Therefore, Crvena zvezda mts have become the champions of Serbia for the 3rd year in a row and for the 18th time in club's history.
