2017/18 ABA League Teams - MZT Skopje Aerodrom

Forget about MZT Skopje Aerodrom from the 2016/17 season and the team which have barely managed to avoid relegation in ABA League. True, this is the same club, but the roster is almost completely different.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom management have decided to keep just a few players from the past season, including Jure Lalić, Marko Simonovski, Stojan Gjuroski, Adem Mekić and Andrej Nastovski. Everyone else in the current roster are newcomers...

Let's start with experienced Damjan Stojanovski who returned to MZT Skopje Aerodrom after missing the last year due to knee injury. Then, the club has signed contracts with three American players - Brett Bailey, Eric Garcia and Daniel Jansen, who should represent the main offensive power of this team. Finally, MZT have also strengthen their roster with Boban Stajić, Bojan Trajkovski, Mihajlo Mitev, Ranko Mamuzić and Andrej Maslinko.

The idea of changing almost the entire team was very clear. MZT Skopje Aerodrom did not have a good previous season, as they finished at the 13th position in the ABA League, with the same overall score as the last placed Krka who got relegated.

Now, the team from Skopje have different plans and they believe that these players can push them to the upper part of the standings.
