Victories for Budućnost, Cibona, Zvezda and Olimpija
On Saturday night, Budućnost VOLI, Cibona, Crvena zvezda mts and Petrol Olimpija have won their test games. Mega Bemax and Zadar defeated.

Budućnost VOLI fans have a reason for optimism only a few days before the tip-off of the ABA Super Cup, as their favourite team have crushed ASVEL in the game for the third place at the Cagliari tournament. After a tied first half, Budućnost VOLI increased their speed and have celebrated in the end with the final score of 81:63. Nemanja Gordić led the way in scoring for Budućnost with 19 points, while Aleksa Ilić and Kyle Gibson added 14. This is the fourth victory of Budućnost VOLI, in the sixth preseason game this summer. At the tournament in Paks, Zadar faced Kaposvari and suffered a defeat with the final score of 85:72. The crucial period was the opening one, which the Hungarians have won by six points and did not let go of the lead until the game’s ending. Scorers to follow. Crvena zvezda mts have edged out Lokomotiv Kuban in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, Belgrade with the final score of 87:82. It has been a tough encounter, where the red and white of Belgrade have prevailed over the guests only in the dying minutes, as they have created themselves a 6 point advantage in the last quarter alone. Milko Bjelica was the top scorer of the red and white with 24 points, while James Feldeine added 21. After six preseason games this summer, Zvezda are still undefeated. Find out more HERE.
Cibona have won the preparation tournament in Mostar, where they have triumphed in the final over host Zrinjski. It has been a one-sided contest which ended with the score of 89:65 in favour of the hosts, that won the very first quarter by 15 points and made things clear from the start. For Cibona Melvin Cleveland led the way in scoring with 19 points. Marin Rozić added 15. This is the fifth win for Cibona for this preseason, out of six games played so far. Petrol Olimpija are the winners of the tournament in Körmend, and they have done it by triumphing in the final against the hosts. The win was convincing, as the Dragons have celebrated it with the final score of 97:83. Devin Oliver and Talor Battle shined for the green and white with 20 points achieved each. This is the fifth win for Olimpija this preseason, after nine games played so far. Check all of the scorers HERE.
Mega Bemax have fought bravely against Turkish powerhouse Besiktas, as they have lost by only two points (78:80). Dylan Ennis was the top scorer once again for the Sremska Mitrovica squad, having put in 24 points, nine more than the next one on the Mega’s scorers’ list Nikola Rebić (15).
