2017/18 ABA League Teams - Zadar

The city of basketball as they call it in Croatia is ready to enter the new ABA League season. At this moment it is difficult to tell how much Zadar can do in the 2017/18 campaign, but they have built a nice roster which can play an important role in the league.

But, let's start from the beginning.

Zadar have extended contract with head coach Aramis Naglić and that means a lot. Firstly, the whole system inside the team will remain the same and Naglić will have a chance to continue with the project he started in the previous season. And, he will have several players from the last-season roster to work with.

Team captain Jakov Vladović has extended his contract with the club and as the most experienced guy in the team he should be the leader down on the court. Also, Lovre Bašić, Mislav Brzoja, Kristijan Krajina, Toni Jelenković and Luka Tomas are still there, ready to continue their adventure with Zadar.

When newcomers are concerned, there are some well-familiar faces. Šime Špralja, Ive Ivanov and Filip Kraljević have returned to the club, while Zadar have also signed Domagoj Vuković and two American players - Nathan Taphorn and Preston Knowles. You should especially pay attention to Knowles, as he was far the best scorer of Zadar in the preseason and he might be huge signing for this team.

One thing is certain - This team of Zadar can beat anyone in the league and we are definitely excited to watch them play in the upcoming season.
